Swell Monk was created because a miracle baby with a love for music and the heart to travel Costa Rica at just 9 months looking for surf, demands a life uncommon.
Giovanni, also known as “Monk” was born Giovanni- partially after Shakespeares best, Don Giovanni. His parents have spent their whole lives believing in the power of music. When you look into your son’s eyes and tell him to follow your dreams, you kinda gotta follow yours.
We believe in music, and we also believe in the power of the ocean. The tide, the seclusion, and the togetherness. Monks mama loves to sing, and his papa plays guitar and teaches Monk about the swell!
We wanna ride this wave together and see musicians from all over find their place in the deep blue.
